individuals who provide services to the community-based older adults of
Knox County. Regular meetings are held the third Wednesday/month at 9:00

Teen Center for Knox County youth ages 13-19. Provides various recreation
opportunities, games, TVs, video games, concerts, various events and
activities. Free/no entry fee, all youth welcome. Open Fridays 7:00 - 11:00
p.m., Wednesday evening youth group 6:00-8:00pm. Sunday night basketball
at the Salvation Army gym 8-10 p.m. For information call Aaron Kester at

The Living Center Apartments offer full service, congregate living for
seniors. Provided in the monthly rent are 3 meals daily, housekeeping service,
free laundry facilities, utilities (except phone), cable TV, activities,
transportation, wellness nurse visits, 24-hour staffing, emergency call system
with nurse on call, and 7 days free room and board annually, if needed, at
Country Court Nursing Center.

Assists consumers of mental health services in understanding their own
recovery, managing their symptoms and medication, and accessing
resources. TMP offers various support groups and educational programs and
activities, CPST services (case management) and peer support. Hours are

The Salvation Army is a religious charitable organization. We provide
activities for the whole family including teen groups and youth programs.
Some of the services include food, emergency shelter, etc. Comprehensive
