Patients receive around the clock care for a wide range of psychiatric
difficulties, both for adults and adolescents. We seek to help patients meet
their own psychosocial, physical and spiritual needs at their individual state
of wellness. Our patient care team consists of a psychiatrist, nurse, social
worker, behavioral health therapist, chaplain, dietician and tutor for
adolescents. This team provides a comprehensive assessment and treatment
approach to meet the needs of patients and their families.

Provide education, advocacy and support services for people who experience
mental illness and their families, as well as violence prevention programs for
youth and adults, parenting programs, and family literacy programs.  Satellite
locations: Youth Engaged in Service Clubhouse, 39 N. First Street, Newark;
Compeer office at The Main Place, 112 S. 3rd St., Newark; parenting
programs are offered in Newark, Utica, Johnstown, Pataskala, Marne, and

Serving Knox and Licking Counties, Moundbuilders is a Comprehensive
Community Mental Health Center. Agency services include: individual,
family, relationship and group counseling, adult and child case-management
services, psychiatric assessment and medication services, psychological
testing, pre-hospitalization services, home-based family therapy, specialized
forensic services, consultation and education services, and school-based
programming. Open weekdays and evenings - 24-hour Emergency Services.
Open to all ages, sliding fee scale, accepts direct payment, third party
payments and medical cards.
